RealEyes partners with the Green Awards

Friday, January 28th, 2011 | Poster under Blog, Events, News, Our work

RealEyes is working with the Green awards to help evolve their core purpose from one that recognises excellence in past performance to one that also drives continuous improvement, innovation and creativity in the sector.  To do this we developed a multi-year plan with the green awards to gradually increase the standard of the competition, year on year.

For the 2011 awards we chose 7 categories that broadly reflect an organisations commitment to sustainability, it’s key sustainability aspects (waste, energy, chemicals), innovation for sustainability and the entrants influence on engaging it’s supply chain in sustainability programs.  In previous years, entrants could focus on a category where they were particularly strong so this approach will give the judges a better idea of their overall sustainability performance.

For the 2012 awards we’ll broaden the scope of the questions to dig a little deeper requiring more evidence of commitment and accreditation in sustainability, more publicly released figures showing improvement in all it’s aspects and how entrants are driving the sustainability agenda through their influence and open innovation.

Last date for entries is 2nd March 2011
