Cybercom Journey to Becoming a Sustainable Agency
Cybercom are 100% committed to putting sustainability at the core of their business operations. As a result of their work with RealEyes they believe an absolute focus on sustainability can make a difference to the wider community and the world we live in.
There are four key drivers that have motivated their journey towards sustainability. They want to apply the most sustainable practices to the workplace. They want to position Cybercom as the agency of choice in a business environment increasingly governed by sustainable legislation. They want to be well placed to help their clients better understand and communicate the sustainability challenge. And most importantly, there is a genuine belief among everyone in Cybercom that what they do to help the world we live in today influences our chances for tomorrow.
The Seven Pillars
With the 4 principles in mind, they’ve identified seven pillars within the business and a set of actions against each pillar.
The Journey So Far!
April 2010: A 12 strong Sustainable Training Committee is appointed. The team completes a series of workshops with sustainability consultants Real Eyes to understand sustainability and agree on a shared language
June 2010: An internal sustainable audit of business practices takes place.
July 2010: RealEyes presents the results of the audit.
August 2010: The results from the audit allow Cybercom to identify seven key areas – the pillars are.
